Paperglot helps you learn languages by reading illustrated short stories with instant translations. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use Paperglot.

Information we collect

• Account information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and password (or a unique identifier from a single sign-on provider). You may optionally add profile details such as preferred learning language and level.
• Content and activity: Stories you open, words you tap for translation, saved words, progress, and other in-app actions used to personalize your experience and sync across devices.
• Device and usage data: Log data such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, and timestamps. We use this to operate and improve the service and to keep it secure.
• Cookies and local storage: Cookies keep you signed in and help us understand usage. We also store limited preferences such as your theme in local storage (e.g.paperglot-theme).
• Payments: If you subscribe, your payment is processed by our payment provider. We receive limited billing details (e.g. transaction IDs, subscription status) but do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Communications: Emails you send us and your communication preferences.

• Provide, operate, and maintain Paperglot.
• Personalize stories and review to match your level and goals.
• Sync your progress and saved words across devices.
