These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of Paperglot (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Paperglot.
Paperglot is owned and operated by Steed Solutions SMC Pvt Ltd.
1. Using Paperglot
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under it.
- Do not misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, or access it using methods other than the interface and instructions provided.
2. Subscriptions and billing
Paperglot may offer paid subscriptions. If you purchase a subscription, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge you the applicable fees and taxes. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled. You can cancel at any time to prevent renewal; access continues until the end of the current period.
3. Refunds
Unless required by law, payments are nonrefundable. If you believe there was a billing error, contact us and we will review your request.
4. Content and licenses
- The Service includes original stories, illustrations, software, and other materials owned by Paperglot or its licensors. These are protected by intellectual property laws.
- We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own learning purposes in accordance with these Terms.
- You may not copy, distribute, modify, host, sell, or lease any part of the Service or included content, nor reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code, unless laws prohibit those restrictions or you have our written permission.
5. User content
If you submit content (for example, reviews or feedback), you grant Paperglot a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. You are responsible for the content you submit and must ensure you have the rights to share it.
6. Acceptable use
- No automated scraping or bulk downloading of content.
- No attempts to bypass access controls or security features.
- No infringing, unlawful, or harmful behavior on the Service.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information. Please review it carefully.
8. Third-party services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services (e.g., payment processors). We are not responsible for third-party content or practices. Your use of those services is governed by their terms.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paperglot and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid to use the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Paperglot and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12. Changes to the Service
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice when we make material changes that affect your use of the Service.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we investigate suspected misconduct. Upon termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms will end.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction unless a different governing law is required by applicable consumer laws. Venue for disputes will be the courts with jurisdiction over our principal place of business, except where local law provides otherwise.
